Onychomycosis Treatment with Nd:YAG Laser
Dr. Thomas A. Sult, MD, and Robin Sult, RNIn this clinical case we used a 1064 nm wavelength Nd:YAG laser to treat onychomychosis using the ClearSteps treatment method. A Fotona S11 scanner with a 6 mm spotsize was used to treat the nails. We performed 4 treatments in a period of two weeks. The fungus was successfully eradicated.
