Large Venous Malformation Treatment Using Nd:YAG - A Case Study

This Clinical Bulletin discusses the treatment of a large venous malformation on the lower lip and in the oral vestibule with Fotona's Nd:YAG laser. The use of the Nd:YAG laser has advantages over conventional treatments which pose a threat of either increasing the lesion's size or excessive bleeding, if not performed precisely and correctly. With the treatment control provided by VSP Technology to the Nd:YAG laser, treatment of such cases are simplified, faster and pose less risk of complications.
