Single Combination Procedure for Acne Scarring

Severe scarring affects 30% of all patients with acne.1 Treatment options for scarring are myriad,2 with combination treatments using a fractional CO2 laser showing promise.3 In this study, we detail our experience using a fractional ablative picosecond/nanosecond hybrid 1,064-nm laser as part of a single-day combination pro-cedure with tumescent anesthesia, extensive subcision, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel for facial acne scars.
