This Clinical Bulletin demonstrates the treatment of a hemangioma on the lip with Fotona's Nd:YAG laser. Dr. Kazak choses this laser source because of its ideal absorption characteristics in treatments that require strong coagulation but leave the delicate tissue structures [of the lips] completely unscathed. In addition, Dr. Kazak makes excellent use of his AT Fidelis' dual wavelengths by using the Er:YAG during the healing process to enhance the final aesthetic result.
