Er:YAG Laser-Assisted Gingivectomy After Orthodontic Treatment

Fotona's VSP Technology provides this laser source an added dimension of control in ablation, allowing the practitioner to determine the ratio of cold ablation versus thermal effects. This case study demonstrates how the Er:YAG is applied in a gingivectomy without the need for anesthesia or any sign of bleeding during or after the procedure.
