Luis Diego Carazo Fernández, MD

Dr. Luis Diego Carazo Fernández is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. He graduated from the University of Costa Rica in San José and served as Medical Director of the Santa María de Dota Clinic within Costa Rica’s Social Security system before completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at San Juan de Dios Hospital.

He later worked as a specialist and undergraduate and postgraduate professor at San Vicente de Paúl Hospital, where he founded and coordinated the Pelvic Floor Unit.

With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Carazo now focuses on private practice, primarily in regenerative and functional gynecology. He has worked with Fotona technologies since 2013 and has participated in research protocols, delivered lectures at LA&HA events, and trained Fotona users throughout Central America and the broader Latin American region.
