María Barrera Pérez, MD

María Barrera Pérez, MD, is a dermatologist, dermato-oncologist, and dermatologic surgeon specializing in both aesthetic dermatology and skin cancer. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2010. She then completed her dermatology residency at the same university, graduating with a thesis that earned first place in the Seminar of Investigation held by the Education and Research Directorate of the Mexico City Health Department.

Following her residency, she pursued a specialization in Dermatologic Surgery and Dermato-oncology, also at UNAM. Dr. Barrera Pérez has continued her training internationally, including hair micrografting in Milan, Italy; longevity medicine with Dr. Adrián Gaspar; and dermatologic ultrasound training in both Mexico and Brazil.

She is the owner of MB Skin and Health, a dermatologic clinic in Mexico City, where she and her team treat both aesthetic and medical conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
